Upcoming The Best Man star John Stamos will appear in the forthcoming independent film My Man is a Loser, according to Deadline.com. Written and directed by David Young, the comedy also stars Michael Rapaport (Hitch) and Bryan Callen (The Hangover). No release date has been announced, but My Man is a Loser will begin filming in New York City in June.
In My Man is a Loser, two married friends (Rappaport and Callen) attempt to be better spouses to their wives by enlisting the help of their playboy friend (Stamos).
As previously reported, Stamos is set to replace Eric McCormack as presidential hopeful Joseph Cantwell in the Broadway revival of The Best Man beginning July 10 at the Schoenfeld Theatre. Best known as Uncle Jesse on TV’s Full House, Stamos’ Broadway credits include Bye Bye Birdie, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Cabaret and Nine. His additional TV appearances include ER, Jake in Progress, Glee and the ABC television adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun.
